Holiday Pet Portraits

On Saturday, December 1, B.I. Barkery held Holiday Pet Portraits sessions with local photographer Julie Clegg of Bailey & Banjo. The event was held from 11am - 3pm and over 20 dogs were photographed. There was a $25 donation for the sitting fee and $550 was raised that day.  The funds were split between 2 local organizations, Lick.Slobber.Drool and Kitsap Humane Society.

“I was very pleased with the turnout for our inaugural event.” said Kim Coletti, owner of B.I. Barkery. “I hope to make this a yearly event.”  The photographer was Issaquah-based, Julie Clegg. “Some dogs are naturals for the camera and some need a little help,” Clegg said, “that’s why I have a cache of noisemakers and tricks to get that perfect shot.”

Lick.Slobber.Drool.

Lick. Slobber. Drool. is a dog lifestyle company that donates a portion of the net proceeds to a scholarship fund that will be awarded annually. Their goal is to raise a significant amount of money to be able to award numerous scholarships throughout the year. Kitsap Humane Society

Kitsap Humane Society (KHS) is a nonprofit charitable organization that depends upon the kindness and generosity of the community we serve in order to continue to care for companion animals in need.
