How is it February 1st?

The past 2 weeks have been another blur! I was in Las Vegas for work for 4 days right after fostering Angolina.  It poured the whole time and I ate too much!  We did have some great views from the empty bars at the top of Manadaly Bay. Vegas is one interesting city! People watching is prime!



We got another snowstorm on Saturday and in the middle of it all, picked up Cadence - a 10 month old lab/shepherd mix.  It was another transport day. To get all the dogs up here safely, the Pam's left in the middle of the night to beat some of the bad weather in NC/VA. The transport got delayed by hours b/c of the snow and when all was said and done - they had been driving for almost 18 hours.  The snow was steadily coming down as we're all huddling together under tents to wait and see the pups! Cadence was a cutie! So gentle and friendly and laid back for her age. AND that's why she got adopted the next day! A nice couple from Maryland who live on 2 acres.

So I ended up taking Stargirl home! She is Luna's sister (see earlier post).  They are so similar in their traits - so shy, mellow, scared AND she won't go up my stairs! She is a gentle giant who just needs some TLC and patience to allow her to come out of her shell.  She is so well behaved on her leash and friendly with other dogs. Someone will be lucky to have her.
